The Fifth Day
At 9:40 today during my biology class Ilooked down at Tamagotchi Angel to see him throwing a little party! He had one of those noise maker things that you blow on and it uncurls and everything was sparkely behind him while he dance. I praised him and was just as happy as he was when I gained 3 good deed points! Then he made a beautiful angelic poopie. Man is he a cutie!
Day 4
Yesterday was a sad day. Monday is one of the days I have full of classes (actually, that is pretty much everyday) and I was forced to take only one pet on my keys. They both will not fit. I chose Tamagotchi Angel because he is slightly smaller than Kitty. Unfortunately I never had time to go back to my dorm and check on Kitty. When I finally arrived home around 9pm I found her gone. She had travelled to Kitty-cat heaven. Poor Kitty.
So now I am able to focus harder on Angel, who is doing fine. He was with me all day so his needs were met, and he fell asleep on me before I went to bed so I did not get to give him his final boost, but it should be okay. He is still asleep right now, so I am waiting to see when I can pump up those stats! =D
Angel Evolved
Yay! At 10:02am today my angel changed. I forgot the name of the character he is now, but it is the one with the really big head. I am excited! I was correct in that he would wake up while I was in class. I took care of him promptly as I had neglected him pretty much all day yesterday. Well he was fine from it. His hunger and healthiness hearts were empty but quickly filled. I then fed him plenty of candy. And here he is now. Evolved. Okay, so I know evolving is from Pokemon, but what else should I call it…?
Kitty is normal. Just sitting there. =)
Day 3 – Morning
Man, we’re still off to a rough start. Last night I was riding in the car with a friend back to college (as I was home for the weekend) and I was taking a nap. Suddenly I was woken by that signature beeping… Uggh… Kitty. I did not want to take the time to care for her right then because I was trying to get a head start on my sleep as I had NaNoWriMo to write for as well as this blog and an essay. Obviously I did not get it all done. =(
When I got back to the campus, I forgot about the pets I had silenced in the car and went straight to work writing everything I needed to write. When I finally headed to bed, I picked up my poor pets. The angel had (I assume) fared well, but had gone to sleep and is still asleep. I find that he sleeps much longer than Kitty, who was sitting there crying and dying. The poor thing’s stats were so low I can’t believe I had left her alone for only a few hours! So I boosted all her points up again and put her to bed.
I awoke to meet my friends for breakfast this morning and rushed out the door without my pets. Oops. I was worried on the way back; I didn’t want them to die. Upon my return I found my kitty crying again for my help. Who knows what time SHE woke up! Good thing I muted them before bed! haha. As I type, I am filling her stats. It’s hard to play chase the butterfly while typing, by the way
And since the angel is still asleep, that is all I have to write. I am sure that he will wake up in the middle of my biology exam at 9am… But for now we’re ok. Kitty had lost two pounds last night due to not being fed. Oops, guess you really CAN starve them (there ya go Courtney…that’s how to make it lose weight!) but she is back up to 12lbs now. My score is 71, 96 food points, 63 discipline, 52 health, 76 happy, and 2 years old. …sigh…
Day 2 – It’s official…
Okay, so I have decided it is very difficult to care for two virtual pets at one time. Well, the giga pet anyway. It seems as if the Tamagotchi is easier to care for than Kitty. This is an odd discovery as I always had thought it was the other way around. Oh well. Learn something new, I guess…
But it is kind of frustrating to take care of both of the pets. I keep seeing how Courtney like never has her beep at her and so now I am considering deactivating Kitty until Angel dies…
And as I speak, they are both beeping like crazy at me. I should go tend to my flock…
The Early Years…
So I have now had my Angel and Kitty activated for about 20 hours…almost two days. And wow. I forgot how much work they were! I am SO glad to have not activated more than two. First off, I forgot how differant the angel is from Kitty. I actually had to use blackle.com to help me find out what to do for some stuff! =o If only there had been blackle or google in 1997!
Actually, that leads me to a point I should probably make. I am in fact using the original 1997 versions of the pets… Just so nobody gets confused because I have never played with a newer version…
Anyway, so here I sit with my two pets. They are turning out to be quite a handful. When I activated them around 4:30pm yesterday, I had to go to a Halloween party at 5. Of course I was worried to leave them alone for too long after just starting them because I had not yet worked up their stats. So I made the attempt to take them with me. I didn’t know how to mute them yet, though, and so I had to quickly return them to the car for fear of them annoying the other guests.
They did live through the party and were a little upset, but that was all.
When I returned home with my two pets and a friend I had picked up on the way, I was further distracted by the commencement of video games on my TV. Poor pets, we are not off to a good start at all…
I finally put them to bed, well, Kitty at least. Angel wouldn’t sleep so I just left him be. They slept most of the night, but Kitty woke up around 6am. UGGGH! I just put her back to sleep and ignored any further beepings until 8am. Muwahahahahaha!
And from then on til now, there have been random beeps, 1 illness, and a couple poops, but nothing too major
Not yet anyway. I will hopefully not kill them right away, but we’ll see…
Introduction to the World of Tamagotchi!
Okay, so I just dug out the old tamagotchi yesterday and decided to revive the critters. I was sitting there next to my friend holding my five tamagotchi/giga pets in my hand. She held her’s as well. We decided to make a trip out to the local Wal-Mart and purchase some of those expensive batteries and allow our little friends to come down to earth and play with us.
Now, I bought enough batteries to bring all of them to life but that probably wouldn’t be a good idea. For anyone who has ever had a Giga Pet or Tamagotchi, you know they are not exactly easy to care for. They are very demanding and time consuming. So I decided to only revive one or two. …but which one(s)?! I sat there holding a Looney Tunes, Cyber Dino, Compu Kitty, Star Wars R2D2, and a Tamogotchi Angel trying to decide which deserved life and which did not. Who am I to play god? How can I make such a choice?
Well I chose Tamogotchi Angel and Compu Kitty.
And that was last night; today I am blessed to have a 4 year old angel and a 1 year old 12lb kitty…
